Maryland Bridal Shower

This past Saturday, October 15th, my bridesmaids threw me a fantastic bridal shower! It was a lot of fun. Friends drove in from Pennsylvania and Virginia and my mom came in from Delaware. It was great to see friends that I haven't seen in a long time.

Gwyneth, Cindy, Angelina and I.
My mom and I.
Notice the great pictures? They were taken by my friend Cindy and my maid of honor, Carolyn. You should check out their websites because they are great artists!

Angelina and Carolyn were in charge of snacks and they did a great job. There was a veggie platter, cheese platter and Friendly's ice cream cake... chocolate thin mint! It was delicious! Lyndsey got the decorations and I have no clue how she managed to drive with those balloons safely by herself!

Once everyone arrived, we went around and introduced everyone. Then we went straight into gifts. Angelina was in charge of handing me the loot.

Wall shelves from Rachel. They will be perfect for Todd's action figures.

New muffin tin!
New baking sheets from my mom. These were definitely needed as my old ones needed to be covered in foil before each use due to rust. Not very appetizing.
A trio of mini canisters which will be perfect for salt and pepper... and maybe cinnamon sugar?
A beautiful gift basket of kitchen gadgets from Mandy.

A beautifully wrapped gift from Cindy.
A gorgeous handmade card from Christine.
Christine also gave me a cute cookie cutter of two joined hearts.
Part of Angelina's gift was Sparking juice. The rest of the gift will remain a mystery to you.
Another beautifully wrapped gift but this one is from Gwyneth.
She gave us Uno and Blokus. I see several game nights in our future!
Anna's gift was wrapped in some great hot pink tulle.
Lyndsey gave me a blinking pin to wear. She said the other possibility was a tiara but she didn't think I would like that. She knows me well!

Elise generously hosted the bridal shower at her house. She also sells Premier Jewelry so after gifts, Elise shared information about her jewelry and we had a jewelry party! It was a lot of fun to look at jewelry and to try some on.

It was such a great day filled with time with great friends. Todd and I are so blessed to have such amazing friends supporting us!
