This recipe is slightly adapted from Taste of Home. This was so much tastier than our usual butter-and-parmesan green beans!
- 4 c frozen green beans
- 4 chopped strips of cooked bacon
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 2 tsp dehydrated onion
- 2 tbs brown sugar
- 2 tsb red wine vinegar
- olive oil
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet and saute the green beans, garlic and onion with S&P. Cook until the green beans are heated through.
- Add the chopped bacon and cook until it gets hot and crispy.
- Stir in the brown sugar and vinegar.
- Eat immediately!
