Pork Chop Parmesan (Low Carb)

Sick of the same old chicken parmesan? Switch it out for a nice pork chop for a delicious twist to a classic meal! This was really quick to make and low carb friendly.


Pork Chop Parmesan (Low Carb)

Ingredients
  • 9 1/2" thick pork chops
  • S&P
  • Italian seasoning
  • 1 c grated parmesan
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • 2 tbs butter
  • 1 c organic tomato sauce
  • 3/4 c shredded mozzarella
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350*.
Pat the pork chops dry and trim any excess fat.
Sprinkle both sides of the pork chops with S&P and Italian seasoning.
Dredge each pork chop in parmesan cheese.
Heat the oil and butter in a frying pan.
Sear each side of the pork chops in the pan; about 3 minutes per side.
Transfer to a greased casserole dish.
Spread the tomato sauce over the tops of each pork chop.
Sprinkle with leftover parmesan cheese, mozzarella and Italian seasoning
Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
