DIY Dollhouse Miniature Dog Crate for $1

The last few days I have had barely any time to work on my dollhouse. I really missed it! Yesterday and today I had a chance to make this adorable dog crate for only $1!!! May I also mention the added bonus that it only took me about thirty minutes to make? (Not including the cushion... add about five minutes for that.) Super easy, super affordable and super cheap... Just the way I like it. :)

"Grow Beast" toy from the Dollar Tree
Black permanent marker
Wire cutters
Small jump ring
Nail file
One large ribbon clasp jewelry finding
Four small ribbon clasp jewelry findings
Mat board or thin cardboard
Scrap fabric
Hot glue gun
Thin quilt batting
Exacto knife
Thin gauge wire

FYI: The brown dog is from a tube of doggies at Michaels in the toy/plastic animal section. The small brown and white puppy is from Hobby Lobby in the miniatures department.
