So this post is almost a year overdue but thought I'd share anyway. Better late than never, right? Here are some cards I made at a crafting weekend with my aunt, cousins and mom.

So for the cards with the cut doily look on the edge, I used a package of Martha Stewart thank you cards that I had leftover from... about ten years ago, from my high school graduation party. (This is why I never throw things away! You never know when or how you will repurpose them!) The bunting one above is just twine and triangles cut from scrapbook paper.

The next set I cut some label shapes with layered scrapbook paper. I used stickers and ribbon for embellishments.

This next one is a "random" one. Some circles and heart punches. Ehhh... nothin' special. :)

I cut some long, skinny triangles from yet more patterned paper and used a glitter snowflake sticker for a tree topper. #modernchristmas

I layered some scrapbook paper with brown craft paper and cut and folded mini envelopes. I tied them with ribbon and used some more heart punches. Sending love your way!

The gift bag is a rectangle of patterned paper with ribbon and tissue paper scraps sticking out of the top.

And my favorite cards, even though the pictures aren't the best... Ta-da! Thanks a latte! Cut the cup pieces separately; the cup and lid are scrapbooking paper and the wrap around the cup is corrugated paper tied with a ribbon.

Welp. There you go! Some cards to inspire you to stop spending five bucks per Hallmark card and just make your own! Happy card making!
