LOW CARB FREEZER MEAL UPDATE #2

I know, I know--- It's been awhile since my last freezer meal update post. But honestly, I have been for-real-cooking again! We STILL have freezer meals in both freezers, but I am saving those for days when we are in a pinch and need an emergency quickie meal.

I won't bother giving an in-depth review of each recipe, like I did in my my last freezer meal update post, because I have included an all-inclusive chart below. Otherwise, this post would just get plain repetitive. Here are some pictures of the remaining recipes though so you can see what everything looked like.

Maple-Dijon-Chicken-Disaster.

Sausage and Peppers.

... with a runny egg, of course.

Savory Chicken.

Mexican Meatloaf. (Can I get a "thumbs up"?)

So that's all of 'em.

Here is an overall update compilation to make it a bit easier to peruse.

Pretty good version of meatballs, considering it doesn’t have actual breadcrumbs in it. Better doused in really flavorful sauce and tons of cheesey goodness than plain.

SO GOOD. The slightest bit spicy, but I have a very low tolerance for that sort of thing. Great as meatloaf or as a twist on taco salad.

Watery and no flavor.

So creamy and rich! Great easy side dish that goes with almost any meal.

This was the husband’s favorite. Great over broccoli or any other steamed veggies.

Eh, just ok. It tastes just like what it sounds like.

The sugar free ingredients separated after being frozen. Not pleasant to look at and the taste was just edible.

Yum! Great with a sunny-side-up egg on top! Needs more sausages and less peppers.

Kind of flavorless. Nothin’ special.

Watery, but otherwise very delish with low carb tortillas and all the fixings!

  4. I did a big batch of freezer prep this past week. And I did a chart similar to yours. Looking for some new recipes for the next prep session, so glad I found your posts. Looking forward to trying some of your "do over" meals.

    Thanks!
