Spring... Where are you?! It was feeling SO much like spring... until this past Friday and Saturday when we had a massive wind storm! I think they clocked the biggest winds at 70 mph. The wind ripped half of our front gutters off! Insane. And I see a little snowflake in my phone's forecast, so that makes me sad too.

But, inside my home is looking a lot like spring! I have had all my spring decor out for the past two weeks, give or take. And I have been doing lots of spring themed DIYs.

So my first project was to make some art for our "entryway" station at the top of our stairs when you walk in. I used a flower catalog (yay for repurposing junk mail!), cut it up, and collaged the gorgeous photos of flowers to make this ampersand! You could even do your family's initial too! I stuck with a simple white and yellow theme to match the rest of my spring decor.

My second spring project was to make a wreath for our front door. I tossed all our old wreaths when we moved two years ago, so I need to focus on making replacements! I used a grapevine wreath that I already had to make this super simple (both visually and process-wise!) wreath. I am so happy now when I come up my front stoop to this!

Despite the remaining chilly weather, my daffodils are about to bloom! I can see those flower buds...! I can't wait for some warmer weather so I can open up my windows! What have you been doing to get in the spring mood?
